Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1Corinthians 15:58
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.
2Corinthians 10:3-6

We are built God-strong! Christ in us is our place of refuge and strength. We are tailor-made to withstand every storm in life and to triumphantly overcome all adversity. God has made it fool-proof for us to walk in dominion over all wayward and unruly circumstances. In Christ there is no provision for failure. This is our inheritance as children of God.
Where does all of the above happen? It happens in our minds! The mind of Christ is now our place of refuge and strength. In Christ alone we have an assurance of victory. Therefore all of the above truth hinges on only one thing and that is the renewal of our mind - to make the mind conform to the mind of Christ.
Our mind conforms us to the reality we are persuaded by. That is why in Romans 12:2 Paul exhorts us to not be conformed to this fallen world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our mind (through our meditation of the word of God). What Paul states is that which we have allowed to 'live' in our mind is that which conforms us daily - it is working a work of transformation. This is why the Holy Spirit has been given to us to live in us. His lead is in the truth of the word of God. As we abide in His truth and allow His truth to live in us, we are undergoing a glorious transformation from the inside out. As Christians this transformation is to reflect the mind of Christ and conforms us and our lives to the truth of the word of God. This happens when we give truth a staying right to communicate to us.
The Holy Spirit in us leads us in the wisdom of God so that we know the will of God and not yield to the foolishness found in the world (Ephesians 5:17). As we yield to the leading of truth, by the Holy Spirit we are led in all triumph. The word of God tells us that Christ always leads us in triumph (2Cor. 2:14). We know that His word is truth and that God is not a man that He would lie to us. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and satan is the father of all lies.
As we abide in the word of truth, we are getting our senses trained to discern a lie from truth so that we are not ensnared by the lying enemy, but are solely led by the Holy Spirit. The way we safeguard from deception is to allow truth to renew our mind and to persuade us that God is for us. There is no greater persuasion of truth than to know that we are loved by God and as we continue in His lead, He causes all things to work together for our good.
A strong persuasion of trust in God is what a sound disciplined mind looks like. It is the very mind of Christ that we have allowed to function in us and to speak truth to us. As we daily annul the lies that speak evil and fear, we are silencing the old carnal mind and giving the mind of Christ pre-eminence. This is what victory looks like!
All storms and wars are waged against our minds and today we can be confident that through the mind of Christ we have all sufficiency to overcome and withstand all assaults of the evil one. The word of God states that, as one thinks so is one's world becoming (Proverbs 23:7). Hence, it is of utmost importance to bring every warring thought against us under subjection and to singularly meditate and consider that which is truth.
Today we dominate the territory of our mind and conquer all wayward thoughts so that our circumstances are rightly aligned in our minds - that all we see is our victorious Jesus leading us in His triumphant procession. Allow mighty Holy Spirit to lead you in the word of truth - the Bible, and to bring forth a glorious transformation so that you may prove and live out God's perfect triumphant will for your life here on Earth.
