Rule Your Moment

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Mark 11:22,23

Take courage today! You have the means to change and transform your moment. You are not subject to circumstance and happenstance. In Christ you now have a say-so!

The more we walk in the Word of God, the more we become persuaded of His authority that now lives liberally in us - Christ in us is the hope of glory. The hope of glory in our every life-moment is that Christ alone be seen and recognized in our life. The way Christ is seen in us and through us is by our minds to be conformed to His Word. When we submit to the Word of God, we are making our life circumstances submit to God. Through our persuasion of faith, our mouth speaks a new reality - a reality of a living experience with Christ. We have put on His Life and Light and thus communicate Life and Light into the world. For we know that from the abundance of our heart, from the place of our persuasion, our mouth speaks and gives substance and materiality to that which we believe (Luke 6:45, Hebrews 11:1). This is the expression of faith, that as we believe, we speak (2Corinthians 4:13).

In Christ we are now God's righteous ones and we live and walk by faith. Faith looks like calling those things that be not as though they are. This is how the father of faith Abraham lived. He believed God and his faith was credited to him as righteousness. We now have that same spirit of faith to speak into existence the possibility that God has communicated to us. In the face of stubborn resistance and seemingly immovable obstruction we speak God-inspired possibility. When we have full persuasion of faith then nothing is impossible to us. This full persuasion of assurance in God is how we cease from our earthly struggle. We stop trying to change our circumstance through human effort and choose to trust God instead and to enter into the rest that faith in God provides.

The place of rest and trust in God is the place of rulership in Christ, the place of authority, where we now move the mountain and the mountain does not move us any more. The key to this is our submission to the process of transformation of the Holy Spirit by renewing our mind by the Word of God. This is how we release transformation power into our life and make all things conform to His perfect will.

Today do not be dismayed by an opposing moment, but apply prayer power by releasing words of transformation to make all opposition bow the knee to Jesus!

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
